Goat & Piggin Strings
Piggin strings are used in calf roping and goat tying to tie three feet of a calf or goat together. Historically this method has been used by ranchers to doctor an animal when in the field alone. Now, it's a timed event in the rodeo arena mimicking the working rancher.
Piggin strings are waxed, vary in stiffness and are generally 6.5 feet in length.
